‘04, ‘05, '06 & '07 Art Fests
Each July the Fallout Arts
Initiative hosts an annual art fest that sees 2,000 in attendance
and helped celebrate the creativity, diversity and community
of South Minneapolis by:
Bringing neighbors
together,
Generating youth
participation,
Creating awareness
of community organizations,
Providing exposure for young & local artists/musicians.
6th Annual: Bigger Impact
– We see this event growing substantially. The Art Fest
will grow from the seeds planted since 2003, we are getting
the word out much earlier, and many more artists will be
involved. Creations from workshops and events for youth
and artists starting in June will be featured at the Art
Fest. The Fallout will also host a prep week for young adults
that will include awareness of urban needs, outreach, set
up, & promotion of the Art Fest.
